Wheat Germ Bread Recipe

  1. Combine 1 1/2 c. flour, wheat germ, yeast, sugar and salt.
  2. Stir in soft butter.
  3. Heat lowfat milk and water.
  4. Add in to dry ingredients.
  5. Beat 2 min, add in flour to make stiff dough.
  6. Let rise 20 min, divide dough into 3 or possibly 4 parts and roll out like a jelly roll.
  7. Roll up to create loaf.
  8. Place in greased loaf pans.
  9. Cover and chill 2 to 24 hrs.
  10. Bake 30 to 35 min at 375 degrees.
  11. Could also be baked on sheet pan.
