Slow Cooker Baked Beans (No Corn) Recipe
- 2 lbs. dry Navy beans
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut in pcs
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon dry mustard
- Cover navy beans with water and soak overnight.
- Drain; add in fresh water to just cover.
- Bring to boil; simmer about 1 hour, till skins crack.
- Place beans and liquid in a slow cooker.
- Add in minced onion, molasses, brown sugar, bacon pcs, salt and dry mustard.
- Liquid should cover beans.
- Cook on high for 6 hrs.
- Cook on low till needed.
