Deerstew for Harvest
- 2 lbs deer (upper leg)
- 3 pieces onions
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 3 tablespoons fat
- 3 bay leaves
- 8 juniper berries
- 1 large mushroom
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cluster grapes (0.5 lb)
- 1 cup ready-to-use baked pizza crust (waret)
- Comminute the onion into tiny pieces.
- Chop the deer into 1 cm quadrats.
- Cook the onion on the hot fat for a few minutes.
- Add to it the juniper berries, the paprika, and the bay leaves.
- Add the meat too, and mix, until it starts to stick a bit.
- Pour some water on it (cca 1 cup).
- Slice well the clean mushrooms.
- Add it to the stew, and wait 10 minutes.
- Pour the wine to the stew, and cook 10 more minutes.
- Put the grapes to the bowl, mix it, and cover it for minutes.
- Serve it with a big slice if sourdough bread.
