Deep Fried Chicken - Authentic Recipe from a Chinese Restaurant

  1. Combine all the seasoning ingredients except for the katakuriko with the chicken.
  2. Rub the seasoning into the meat.
  3. Mix in the katakuriko and while waiting for the ingredients to blend, chop the cabbage and other garnishing vegetables.
  4. Deep fry for about 5 minutes in oil heated to 170C, then remove and let sit for 2 minutes.
  5. Briefly deep fry once more in oil heated to 200C, then serve.
