Bacon Wrapped Corn Dogs

  1. Separate cornbread dough into 8 sticks, pinching short ends together to seal.
  2. Roll or press each piece into 14-inch rope.
  3. Insert popsicle sticks lengthwise into franks, leaving 1 inch of popsicle stick exposed.
  4. Wrap each cornbread rope in spiral fashion around each frank, pressing ends of dough to seal.
  5. Wrap 1 or 2 bacon slices in spiral fashion around each cornbread-covered frank; press bacon into cornbread.
  6. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
  8. Serve with catsup, mustard or honey.
  9. Makes 8 servings.
