Banana Nut Breakfast Cake
- 1 cup flour
- 4 packets
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- powdered sugar
- Mix flour, cereal and baking powder in large bowl; set aside.
- Beat margarine or butter and brown sugar with mixer in medium bowl until creamy; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add milk and vanilla alternately with flour mixture, beating until smooth.
- Spread batter into lightly greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
- Top with Crumb Topping.
- Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze, if desired.
