Debbies Easy Cherry Cobbler
- 2 (20 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
- 1 (15 ounce) canpitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup, drained
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 12 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 1 egg wash
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Stir together pie filling, cherries, and 2 tablespoons flour.
- Stir in almond extract.
- Place in a lightly greased 8-inch-square baking dish.
- Place pie crust on top.
- Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with sugar.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
