Thin Yogurt Sauce
- 2 cups good-quality whole-milk yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Pinch of cayenne
- 1/4 cup or more chopped fresh parsley leaves, fresh mint leaves, or a combination
- Whisk together the yogurt and lemon juice until smooth.
- Stir in the other ingredients.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to several hours; drain excess liquid if necessary and stir again before serving.
