Bourbon Chess Pie Recipe
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. plain flour
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. bourbon
- 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie crust
- Cream butter with sugar and flour till light and fluffy.
- Add in Large eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add in liquids and flavoring and pour into crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 min or possibly till filling is set.
- Pie settles after removal from oven.
- Please note: The alcohol burns off in the heating, only the flavor is left.
