Lumpia (Egg Rolls) Recipe

  1. In a skillet, brown beef, drain, set aside.
  2. Heat veg.
  3. oil.
  4. Add in garlic, brown lightly.
  5. Add in minced onion, stir 2 min.
  6. Add in minced carrots, stir 5 min.
  7. Add in water, celery and water chestnuts.
  8. Mix all together for 10 min.
  9. Add in beef, soy sauce, and cabbage.
  10. Mix and cook for 7 min.
  11. Add in pepper.
  12. Stir for 1 minute.
  13. Drain liquid and cold for 2 hrs.
  14. Mix with Large eggs.
  15. Roll in lumpia skins.
  16. Seal edges of skin by brushing water on edge of skin.
  17. Deep fry 3-4 at a time and serve warm with catsup or possibly sweet and sour sauce.
  18. Makes 24.
