Tom Thumb Stuffed Peppers Recipe
- Warm peppers
- Cabbage
- Salt and pepper
- Equal parts of sugar and vinegar
- Slaw cabbage as for cole slaw, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Heat to a boiling point sugar and vinegar.
- Stuff peppers with cabbage and fill jars.
- Cover with boiling vinegar syrup.
- Seal tight but leave 1/2 inch air expansion in each jar.
- Put in water bath.
- Boil 5 min.
- Let cold in bath.
