Chinese Garlic Spareribs, Quebec City Style

  1. Put water, white and brown sugars in a large saucepan.
  2. Boil mixture while frying spareribs.
  3. Brown spareribs in a little oil.
  4. Once fried, add to the liquid.
  5. Add garlic and one cup of soy sauce.
  6. Cover and keep on a low boil at medium heat for an hour.
  7. Put in a serving plate and garnish with green onions.
