California Roll for Guests
- 5 slice Smoked salmon
- 1/2 Avocado
- 3 tbsp Cream cheese
- 1 sheet Nori seaweed
- 1 White sesame seeds
- 1 bowl Cooked rice
- 1 Sushi no ko (powdered sushi vinegar)
- Mix some 'sushi no ko' into the cooked rice to create some sushi rice.
- Spread a thin layer of rice on top of some cling film that is just a little smaller than the nori sheet.
- Sprinkle on some sesame seeds and cover with a layer of saran wrap.
- Flip everything over and stick a sheet of nori over the top of the rice.
- Line up the smoked salmon, avocado and cream cheese at the bottom of the nori and roll everything together.
- Roll the california roll whilst still wrapped.
- Once the roll is closed securely, take away the saran wrap and cut the sushi roll with a wet knife to complete.
- If you like, place some salmon roe over the top along with a dollop of wasabi and a squeeze of mayonnaise.
