Pepperoni & Mushroom pizza
- 1 can plain tomatoes sauce
- 2 tbsp of jarred pesto
- 2 tsp Grated garlic
- 1 salt/pepper
- 3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp olive oil
- pinch sugar
- 1 packages of active yeast dissolved 1 cup of warm water
- pinch salt
- 1 as many mushroom and pepperoni that you like.
- 2 balls of mozzarella cheese
- Combine sauce ingredients and simmer until thickens and sit aside to cool.
- Place yeast pkg in 1 cup warm water with a pinch of sugar and allow to sit for 10 mins, meanwhile place flour, salt, and olive oil in mixture in mixing bowl and pour yeast mixture in.
- With dough hook mix together until dough pills away from side of bowl.
- Next roll dough out on a floured surface and knead for 7 minutes.
- In a bowl add another splash of olive oil and place dough and cover with cling film.
- Allow to rise for hour.
- After hour punch down risen dough.
- Allow to rise for another hour.
- After second rise knead dough with a bit more flour until a smooth ball forms.
- Divide into two and freeze second dough ball til you need it.
- Roll out dough, place o izza stone in over on 500 for about an our before you put pizza in oven.
- Place cornmeal on bottom of pizza pan.
- Add thin layer of pizza sauce, cheese and toppings.
- Cooking pizza on pizza pan about 15 mins and then dump onto clay stone after crust cooks halfway on bottom.
- Continue to cook until brown, bubbly and cheesy!
