Shrimp and Tomato Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce
- 2 servings Chinese-style noodles
- 6 Shrimps
- 1 Tomato
- 1 bunch Mizuna greens
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 70 ml Water
- Combine the ingredients for the sesame dipping sauce in a bowl and chill in the refrigerator.
- Cut a shallow X on the bottom of the tomato.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and drop the tomato and cook for 30 seconds until the skin starts to peel.
- Take out of the hot water immediately afterwards, and bathe in ice-cold water.
- Remove the skin and cut into thin wedges.
- Cut the mizuna greens into 5 cm pieces.
- Remove the shell and vein from the shrimp.
- Cook in a boiling water and drain.
- Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package and rinse under cold water then drain well.
- Divide the noodles among 2-3 plates.
- Pour an equal amount of sesame sauce over each plate.
