home made cornbread.
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk or( 1 10-oz can cream of corn
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- mix dry ingredients together.
- add eggs milk, or cream of corn, and oil.
- beat just until smooth, approximately 1minute (dont overmix) Pour batter into a greased 8 inch pan or greased muffin pan.
- Bake at 350F for 23 to 28 minutes.
- serve warm w/ butter.
