Brisket Barbecue Recipe

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let cold.
  3. When cold, pour over briskets and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
  4. Cover briskets and marinade with foil and cook for 10 to 12 hrs in a 200 to 225 oven.
  5. Remove briskets from marinade and chill.
  6. When cool, slice and layer in baking dishes.
  7. Baste with your favorite barbecue sauce, cover and reheat before serving.
  8. Yield: 2 whole briskets.
  9. Chill OVERNIGHT
