Breakfast Sausage Recipe
- 1/4 pound smoked sausage, 1/2" slices, quartered
- 1/3 c. oil
- 4 c. frzn southern style hash brown potatoes
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 3 slices (Velveeta) pasteurized processed cheese, cut in half diagonally
- Cook sausage in large skillet on medium heat till lightly browned.
- Remove with slotted spoon.
- Add in oil; heat to medium high.
- Add in potatoes and pepper.
- Cover; cook 8 to 10 min or possibly till desired crispness.
- Stir in sausage.
- Remove from heat.
- Top with cheese.
- 4 servings.
