New York Egg Cream

  1. Stir one raw egg and pour it into the bottom of a large,tall glass
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup, followed by a 1/2 cup of milk.
  3. Stir thoroughly.
  4. Hold a bottle of seltzer 12 inches above the glass as you pour the seltzer into the glass and allow the seltzer to foam to the top .
  5. Stir once more and the drink and enjoy.
