Salty and Sweet Fried Burdock Furikake Rice Sprinkles

  1. Take the skin off the burdock and cut it into small pieces.
  2. Put it in a food processor.
  3. Don't mince it too much because it tastes better when it has the burdock texture.
  4. Pour some vegetable oil into a frying pan and fry the burdock well on a medium flame.
  5. Add all ingredients and stew until the liquid boils away.
  6. When the liquid has boiled away, add sesame oil and roasted sesame and mix it.
  7. Then it is ready!
  8. These furikake rice sprinkles are nutritious and you can put them on rice, or mix them with rice and make an onigiri with them.
  9. You can make a special dish if you roll use in egg rolls.
  10. It is useful too for bento lunch box!
