Chocolate-Peanut Butter Banana Bread
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup plus 1 Tbsp. milk, divided
- 1 cup fully ripe mashed bananas (about 3)
- 3/4 cup plus 3 Tbsp. crunchy peanut butter, divided
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla, divided
- 1 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
- Whisk egg and 1 cup milk in medium bowl.
- Add bananas, 3/4 cup peanut butter, oil and vanilla; mix well.
- Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
- Stir in chocolate morsels.
- Pour into 2 greased and floured 8x4-inch loaf pans.
- Bake 50 to 55 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 10 min.
- ; remove from pan to wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Cook remaining peanut butter and butter in small saucepan on medium heat until butter is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar and remaining vanilla.
- Add remaining milk; mix well.
- Spread over bread; sprinkle with nuts.
