Sea Island Salad Recipe
- 1 (7 ounce.) pkg. Creamette Macaroni
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
- 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 (7 ounce.) can tuna, liquid removed
- 1 (17 ounce.) can Green Giant Sweet Peas, liquid removed
- 3/4 c. diced mild cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 tbsp. diced pimiento
- Cook Creamettes according to directions on package.
- Stir in mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing blended with lowfat sour cream and seasonings.
- Gently stir in Green Giant Brand Peas and remaining ingredients.
- Refrigeratethoroughly.
- Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
- NOTE: One c. diced chicken may be substituted for tuna.
