Chicken Manicotti With Chives And Cream Sauce Recipe
- 12 manicotti shells
- 1 (8 ounce.) container soft style cream cheese with chives and onions
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2/3 c. (or possibly less) lowfat milk
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli (thawed and liquid removed)
- 1/2 jar roasted red peppers
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Paprika

- Cook shells approximately 18 min till tender but hard.
- Rinse in cool water and drain.
- 2.
- Sauce: Stir cream cheese over medium/low heat till melted.
- Slowly add in lowfat milk.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese.
- 3.
- For filling: Stir together 3/4 c. sauce, chicken, red peppers, broccoli and black pepper.
- Spoon into shells.
- Arrange in 13x9 pan and top with remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover and bake 25-30 min at 350 degrees.
