Sausage, Green Pepper and Garlic Bread
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 12 green pepper, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed
- 12 cup flour
- canola oil
- Spray canola oil into large ziploc storage bag.
- Place loaf of bread into bag, seal and set out overnight on the kitchen counter.
- The next morning cook your sausage until almost done and add the green pepper and fennel.
- Cook until done.
- Let the sausage mixture cool for 10 minutes and then add the parmesan and 1 beaten egg.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Meanwhile spread the flour onto a clean working surface.
- Take the dough out of the bag and shape into a ball.
- Roll the dough out into a rectangular shape.
- Should be at least 10 inches wide and 16 inches long.
- Spread mixture evenly onto dough, then add the fresh garlic.
- Roll from one end to the other making sure to seal both ends.
- Bake seam side down for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
