Vegan Schmear
- 1 cup Firm Silken Tofu
- 1/4 cups Cashews
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1- 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
- 1/2 teaspoons Vegetable Bouillon Powder (or Spike Brand Seasoning Mix)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- Drain excess liquid from the tofu by placing it between paper towels and patting gently.
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor or blender until very smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides.
- Taste and adjust seasonings or add more liquid for a thinner consistency.
- Refrigerate overnight before eating.
- Keep it in an airtight container and it will be fresh for 5 days.
