Sour Milk Pie Recipe
- 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sour lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 c. seedless raisins
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- (To 1 c. of sweet lowfat milk, add in 1 teaspoon lemon juice or possibly cider vinegar.
- Let set 15 min).
- Combine all of the ingredients, stirring till thoroughly mixed.
- Let all stand 45 min to allow raisins to plump up and the lowfat milk to acidify.
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Pour mix into the pie shell.
- Bake 10 min, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 min longer or possibly till pie is set.
- Cold and serve.
