Warm Apple Tarts Recipe
- 18 ounce. puff pastry (purchased frzn & thawed according to instructions on pkg.)
- 10-12 apples, peeled, cored & very thinly sliced
- 3 ounce. powdered sugar
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to create a very thin sheet.
- Cut 12 (6 inch) circles and prick them with a fork.
- Place the circles of pastry onto baking sheets covered with parchment paper.
- Arrange the apple slices on the circles in a spiral pattern.
- Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 10 min, or possibly till pastry is brown around the edges.
- Take pastry out of oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- Bake an additional minute.
- Serve one apple tart per person with whipped cream on the side, if you like.
- Serves 12.
