145 Year Old Bubble and Squeak

  1. Fry the slices of beef gently in a little butter, taking care not to dry them up.
  2. Place on a serving dish and keep warm.
  3. Boil cabbage till tender.
  4. Drain well.
  5. Place until hot in a frying pan with butter, a sliced onion and seasoning of pepper and salt.
  6. When the onion is done, it is ready to serve.
  7. To serve, place fried greens over warm sliced beef.
