Gates-Style Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken
- 1- 1/2 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Packet) Onion Soup Mix
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Distilled Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 4 cups (approximately) Water
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 cups BBQ Sauce (more As Needed)
- Place chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk onion soup mix, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce and water.
- Gently pour over the chicken.
- Drop in garlic cloves.
- Cover and cook for 8-9 hours on low heat.
- Remove chicken breasts from the liquid, set aside and allow them to cool.
- Shred the chicken breasts until you reach the desired consistency.
- Mix in BBQ sauce or serve alongside.
