Gates-Style Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken

  1. Place chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk onion soup mix, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce and water.
  3. Gently pour over the chicken.
  4. Drop in garlic cloves.
  5. Cover and cook for 8-9 hours on low heat.
  6. Remove chicken breasts from the liquid, set aside and allow them to cool.
  7. Shred the chicken breasts until you reach the desired consistency.
  8. Mix in BBQ sauce or serve alongside.
