Out of control spaghetti sauce
- 2 28oz cans tomato sauce
- 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 3 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp sugar
- 7 bay leaves
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 can medium olives diced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup diced green onion
- 2 bell peppers, seeded and diced
- 10 medium mushrooms sliced
- 1 red onion diced
- 5 bratwurst
- 5 hot links sliced
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 1 lb shelled, deveined large shrimp split in two
- throw first 9 ingredients in large pot, bring to boil.
- meanwhile heat oil in pan, throw in bell pepper, onion, mushrooms and green onion, season to taste with salt and pepper (I like to use garlic salt) cook till slightly soft, about 10 minutes, throw in sauce pot, cover and simmer.
- cook beer bratwurst according to package, allow to cool then slice, throw in sauce pot
- throw sliced hot links in pan and cook over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes, drain, throw in pot (or if you're naughty like me, throw the juice in too)
- cook ground beef till no longer pink, drain, season with salt and pepper to taste, throw in sauce pot, throw parmesan cheese in, cover and let simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally.
- throw your shrimp in, cover and cook 10 minutes, turn heat off let sit 5 to 10 minutes, spoon over noodle of choice, enjoy!
