Easy Teriyaki-Style Salmon

  1. Cut the salmon into easy-to-eat pieces.
  2. Season with salt and pepper (optional, only if you're using raw salmon) and coat with flour.
  3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the salmon on both sides.
  4. Make sure the skin gets nice and crispy.
  5. Wipe away any excess fat from the frying pan.
  6. Add the dressing to the pan, and coat the salmon pieces in it.

  9. The dressing has some oil in it, so some will be left in the frying pan.
  10. Transfer the salmon to serving plates, taking care not to scoop up any oil with it.
  11. To make the dressing (if you don't have any made in advance), mix together: 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon oil (see "Tips") 1/2 tablespoon sugar a little pepper
