Layered Taco Bake

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. Brown meat
  3. Add taco seasoning to meat -follow directions of package
  4. Take 1 flour torilla, place in pan (I use round glass 9 inch pie pan)
  5. Spread spoonful of refried beans on tortilla, preference on how thick, but will need for 3 total layers
  6. Spread some of the cheese sauce on the refried beans
  7. Sprinkle meat on top of refried beans and cheese sauce
  8. Repeat steps 4 - 7 a total of 2 more times.
  9. After placing 3 layers, add another flour tortilla on top of last layer
  10. Add shredded cheese on top of tortilla
  11. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes, or until cheese melted
  12. Once out of oven, add tomato and cilantro or whatever toppinga you desire
  13. I always try new things with this recipe.
  14. Some ideas are using black beans instead of refried beans; enchilada sauce instead of cheese sauce; adding a can of rotel, etc.
  15. It mixes the recipe up!

beans, ground turkey, velveeta cheese sauce, flour tortilla, blend cheese, tomato, cilantro
