Caramel Apple Pork Chops Recipe

  1. 1 Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Brush chops lightly with oil, and place in warm pan.
  3. Cook for 5 to 6 min, turning occasionally, or possibly till proportionately browned.
  4. Transfer to a hot dish, and keep hot in a low oven.
  5. 2 In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Add in butter to skillet, and stir in brown sugar mix and apples.
  7. Cover, and cook for 3 to 4 min, or possibly just till apples are tender.
  8. Remove apples with a slotted spoon, and arrange on top of chops.
  9. Keep hot.
  10. 3 Continue cooking mix in skillet, uncovered, till sauce thickens slightly.
  11. Spoon sauce over apples and chops.
  12. Sprinkle with pecans, if you like.
