Grammies Down East Fish Chowder

  1. Peel and dice potatoes into 1" pieces.
  2. Dice 1 large onion
  3. Add potato and onion to pot.
  4. Add water to just cover the potatoes
  5. Cook until potatoes are almost fork tender
  6. Add stick of butter and 1 can of condensed milk.
  7. Return to a boil, add fish last.
  8. Cook until fish is white.
  9. Salt to taste.
  10. Garlic powder if desired
