Grammies Down East Fish Chowder
- 1 lb Haddock
- 5 each Potatoes
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 each Onion
- 1 can Evaporated Milk 12oz
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Garlic Powder
- Peel and dice potatoes into 1" pieces.
- Dice 1 large onion
- Add potato and onion to pot.
- Add water to just cover the potatoes
- Cook until potatoes are almost fork tender
- Add stick of butter and 1 can of condensed milk.
- Return to a boil, add fish last.
- Cook until fish is white.
- Salt to taste.
- Garlic powder if desired
