Papa's Hot Mexican Dip

  1. Brown first 3 ingredients in large fry pan or dutch oven; drain.
  2. Add chiles, chili powder, salsa, and Velveeta.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Cook over medium heat until Velveeta melts, stirring so cheese doesn't burn.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or Fritos.
  6. Can be transferred to a slow cooker to keep warm.
