Filet Mignon for the Grill
- 14 cup garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 -2 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 -4 steaks
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic clove
- 14 cup beef broth
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- Put the EVOO in a medium to large-sized saucepan and put on a medium heat.
- Use a generous amount of the rub on each side of each filet and lightly coat each with flour.
- Place each filet in the saucepan and braise each side for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the beef broth and turn heat to low and let simmer for as long as it takes to make the rice.
- Once the rice is almost ready, put the filets on your grill for no more than 5 minutes per side on low heat.
