Caramelized Potatoes Brunede Kartofler (Brunede Kartofler)
- firm potato, boiled in their jackets, and then peeled
- 35 -50 g butter
- 3 tablespoons caster sugar
- N.B.
- ~ The recipe states ~ Be careful not to overcook the potato's, or they will break up.
- Melt the sugar in a large frying pan.
- When it is light brown, add the butter.
- Rinse the potato's well under cold water and quickly tip into the pan.
- Shake the pan so that the potato's are caramelized all over.
- Heat through and serve at once.
