Crock Pot Clam Chowder Recipe

  1. If the fish is frzn, thaw; cut into bite sized pcs.
  2. In skillet, saute/fry salt pork or possibly bacon and onion till golden; drain.
  3. Put into crock pot with clams.
  4. Add in all other ingredients, except lowfat milk.
  5. Cover; cook on high 3 to 4 hrs or possibly till potatoes are tender.
  6. During the last hour of cooking, combine 1 or possibly 2 c. of lowfat milk with the cornstarch.
  7. Add in to crock pot with remaining lowfat milk and stir well.
  8. Serve in large bowls with crusty French bread.
