Apple Cider Sauce For Ham Recipe
- 2 quart Apple Cider, Reduced To
- 2 c. Reduced Cider
- 4 lb Mcintosh Apples Pared And Quartered
- 1 c. Sugar
- 7 x Makes this many c.
- In a 4 qt saucepan bring cider to boiling.
- Boil gently over medium heat about 20 min or possibly till cider is reduced to specified amount in recipe.
- Add in quartered apples and sugar; toss gently to combine.
- Gently simmer apples covered till apples are soft- about 20 min.
- Stir once.
- Serve hot with ham.
