Easy, 5-Minute Stovetop Popcorn

  1. In a large Dutch oven, add the oil.
  2. Heat over medium heat.
  3. Add 3-5 kernels of popcorn.
  4. Cover and wait until all kernels have popped, 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove the popcorn with a slotted spoon and throw it away.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium low, and add the rest of the popcorn kernels.
  7. Sprinkle with salt.
  8. Cover and allow the popcorn to pop until there is a couple of seconds between each pop, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Remove from heat and remove the lid.
  10. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
