VELVEETA Beef Skillet
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 cups water
- 3 cups egg noodles, uncooked
- 200 g Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
- Brown meat with mushrooms in large nonstick skillet.
- Stir in water.
- Bring to boil.
- Add noodles; stir.
- Cover; simmer on medium heat 10 to 15 min.
- or until noodles are tender and just small amount of water remains in skillet.
- Add Velveeta; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until Velveeta is completely melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in sour cream.
