Cake And Wine Pudding (Kucha Un Wei) Recipe

  1. Place pcs of sponge cake, lady fingers or possibly similar cake into an earthenware dish (fill about 1/2 full).
  2. Add in a few macaroons.
  3. Heat the wine.
  4. Mix the cornstarch and sugar together and slowly add in the wine.
  5. Beat the yolks of Large eggs and add in to the wine mix.
  6. Cook about 2 min.
  7. Pour over the cake and let cold.
  8. When cold, cover with the stiffly beaten egg whites and sprinkle with the minced nutmeats.
  9. Bake at 325-F for a few min to brown.
  10. Serve cool.
