Cake And Wine Pudding (Kucha Un Wei) Recipe
- 1 x Macaroons
- 1 x or possibly:
- 1 pt Wine
- 3 x Egg yolk
- 3 x Egg white
- 1 x Sponge cake
- 1 x Lady fingers
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 3 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 c. Nuts, minced
- Place pcs of sponge cake, lady fingers or possibly similar cake into an earthenware dish (fill about 1/2 full).
- Add in a few macaroons.
- Heat the wine.
- Mix the cornstarch and sugar together and slowly add in the wine.
- Beat the yolks of Large eggs and add in to the wine mix.
- Cook about 2 min.
- Pour over the cake and let cold.
- When cold, cover with the stiffly beaten egg whites and sprinkle with the minced nutmeats.
- Bake at 325-F for a few min to brown.
- Serve cool.
