Easy Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

  1. Melt butter in a Dutch oven over medium heat; add onion, and saute until tender.
  2. Stir in chicken and next 9 ingredients; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, and simmer 45 minutes.
  4. Stir in milk; return to simmer.
  5. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
