Soft And Delicious 2 Hour Whole Wheat Bread Recipe
- 5 c. hot water
- 2 tbsp. yeast
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/3 c. oil
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. potato flakes
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 4-5 c. unbleached flour
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Make a sponge using all ingredients down to, and including salt.
- Use beaters or possibly a mixer.
- Let rest 10 min.
- Add in remaining flour gradually as needed to make a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured board.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise till double.
- Punch down; shape into 4 loaves; place in greased pans.
- Cover and let rise again till double.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 min.
- Put warm bread on a towel to cold for soft crust.
