Tomato Jerk Salmon
- 1 large can pink salmon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion --sliced
- 1 tbsp jerk seasoning paste (mild)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 salt if needed
- Gather ingredients
- Open can of salmon , clean off skin and bones .sprinkle the 1 tbsp lemon juice over it
- Over medium heat -in a pot heat oil -- add the onions and saute till tender add the jerk seasoning paste and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the salmon and the tomato ketchup-- stir to combine -- try not to break up the salmon too much --cook for 1 minute -- add the chives and let simmer for 5 minutes-- add the parsley --if salt is needed add to taste -- turn to coat --take off the stove
- Done !!!
