Sausage Cheese Balls
- 3 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
- 1 package Ranch Salad Dressing Seasoning Mix, 1.5 Ounce Packet
- 4 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese sharp, Mild Or A Combination
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- 2 pounds Hot Breakfast Sausage, At Room Temperature
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Measure the Bisquick into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the Ranch dressing seasoning, and blend well.
- Stir in the 4 cups of shredded cheese, then stir in the onions.
- Using a spoon or your hands I used gloves, mix the 2 pounds of sausage into the Bisquick mixture until it is well incorporated.
- This will take a few minutes.
- Spray a large sheet pan or pans with cooking spray.
- Using your hands, roll the sausage mixture into walnut-sized balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Makes about 3 dozen.
- Serve hot or warm.
- Also makes a wonderful stuffing for mushrooms!
