Sausage Cheese Balls

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Measure the Bisquick into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the Ranch dressing seasoning, and blend well.
  4. Stir in the 4 cups of shredded cheese, then stir in the onions.
  5. Using a spoon or your hands I used gloves, mix the 2 pounds of sausage into the Bisquick mixture until it is well incorporated.
  6. This will take a few minutes.
  7. Spray a large sheet pan or pans with cooking spray.
  8. Using your hands, roll the sausage mixture into walnut-sized balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Makes about 3 dozen.
  11. Serve hot or warm.
  12. Also makes a wonderful stuffing for mushrooms!
