Chocolate Custard Recipe
- 2 ounce. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. cream, whipped
- 1.
- Heat chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
- Stir in lowfat milk and heat.
- 2.
- Add in sugar, flour and salt and cook, stirring constantly, till thick.
- Stir in egg yolk and cook for 2 min.
- 3.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in vanilla.
- Cold.
- 4.
- When cold, mix in whipped cream.
- Chill.
- Serves 4.
