Sweetly Simmered Potatoes and Chicken Wings
- 1 dash Potatoes
- 6 wings Chicken wing mid section
- 50 ml Mirin
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 50 ml Sake
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 Frying oil
- If you have big potatoes, cut them into bite sizes (this is what I used this time).
- Gently remove the skins and pat dry.
- Deep fry.
- Once you've taken out the potatoes, put in the chicken wings and then deep fry, avoiding the oil from splattering.
- In a pot, combine the ingredients together and bring to a boil.
- Add in the potatoes and the chicken wings, and reduce the liquid until you're satisfied.
- It's done.
- This is the pot cooking down.
- Cook until it thickens.
