Spaghetti Meatballs

  1. Mix together the beef, breadcrumbs, egg, spring onions, carrot and Vegemite* until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into 24 even sized balls.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan, add meatballs and cook over a medium heat for 8-10 minutes until golden brown all over.
  4. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, water, herbs and pepper.
  5. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  6. Serve over wholemeal spaghetti with parmesan and accompany with a mixed salad.
