Double Crust Meat Pie Recipe
- Pie crust (opt.)
- 1 pound beef (hamburger, pork, etc.), cooked
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 c. shredded raw carrot
- 2 med. shredded raw potatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 c. water
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 min.
- You may add in 1 can mushroom pcs, optional.
- Cold slightly and put into pie crust.
- At this stage may be frzn or possibly bake at 425 degrees till brown.
- Or possibly may be served over rice instead of baked in crust.
